The United States and the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan (Taliban) have signed a peace agreement to end the nineteen-year war in Afghanistan. During the signing ceremony Secretary of State Mike Pompeo delivered the following remarks.

From the article linked above:

The United States signed a historic peace deal with the Taliban in Doha, Qatar, Saturday that officials hope will mark the beginning of the end of America’s longest war. Under the deal, all U.S. troops would withdraw from Afghanistan in 14 months if the Taliban meet their commitments.

The signing between Zalmay Khalilzad and Taliban officials will set the stage for the final withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan after 19 years of violence that has killed more than 3,500 Americans and coalition troops and tens of thousands of Afghans since the U.S. invasion following the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001.

The U.S. withdrawal hinges on the Taliban’s fulfillment of major commitments that have hobbled peace agreements in the past, including breaking with al Qaeda, the Islamic State and other terrorist groups, and maintaining the reduction in violence seen over the last week, Esper said. It is also dependent on difficult negotiations between the Taliban and the Afghan government over power-sharing and a lasting cease-fire.

If these conditions are met, the U.S. will initially reduce the number of troops in Afghanistan from roughly 13,000 to 8,600, a senior administration official told reporters on Thursday ahead of the signing.

The South Carolina primary has allowed SleepyCreepy Joe to continue on in trying to capture the Democrat nominee. He did better than expected last night.

The delegate count based on the results currently stands as follows:

6 more delegates will be assigned between SleepyCreepy Joe and Crazy Bernie once all the votes are in.

The Democrat Establishment, DNC, Never Trumpers and MSM are breathing a big sigh of relief.

SleepyCreepy Joe’s Black coalition held up in a big way for him. The problem for them is that Super Tuesday is right around the corner and SleepyCreepy Joe had no money to run ads in California, Texas and many of the other Super Tuesday states.

They are hoping beyond hope that the win in South Carolina will push him over the 15% threshold in California and Texas in order to stop Crazy Bernie from taking a large portion of the delegates in those 2 states.

The other problem for them is that MiniMike will be joining the race on Super Tuesday. He will not take a single vote from Crazy Bernie. However, he will take plenty of votes away from SleepyCreepy Joe.

Mayor Pete, Pocahontas and Amy Klobuchar came in a distant 4th, 5th and 6th place in South Carolina. None of them earned any delegates. I suspect that after Super Tuesday, all 3 will suspend their campaigns.

Tom Steyer dropping out was a wild card in my opinion. He came in 3rd but couldn’t break through the 15% threshold to win any state or district delegates.

Because of that, he decided last night to suspend his campaign.

From the article linked above:

Tom Steyer, the California activist billionaire who has largely been a nonfactor in the Democratic primary campaign, dropped out of the race on Saturday night.

Steyer’s departure came after a disappointing finish in the South Carolina Democratic primary. With 56 percent of the vote in, Steyer had just 11.7 percent of the vote — despite spending millions of dollars on campaigning there.

Another piece of data out of South Carolina shows that the Black vote is shrinking for the Democrats.

Our President’s campaign is continuing to bring even more Hispanic voters into his diverse coalition.

From the article linked above:

He was told being strict on illegal immigration would doom him among Hispanic voters.

Yet President Trump has defied their predictions, from the moment he delivered his iconic address to the Conservative Political Action Conference in 2013 — warning the Republican Party that legalizing 11 million illegal immigrants was political suicide — through the 2016 presidential election and into the White House.

Now nine months out from his second Election Day, and despite a tenure in the White House that has involved building a border wall, stepping up deportations and insulting some Latin American nations as “s—hole” countries, Mr. Trump is as strong as ever among Hispanic voters, according to the polls.

Mr. Trump has improved his standing among Hispanics in just the last week in two regular polls — the Politico/Morning Consult survey and the Economist/YouGov survey. Last week both had the president at 35% approval in the Hispanic breakout of their national survey. This week he’s at 39% in the Morning Consult poll and 38% in the YouGov survey.

Look at these incredible numbers from the rally in South Carolina:

I love the fact that our President continues to go after MiniMike. Our President knows that the man is an ego maniac and that by saying he has to dropout actually will have the opposite effect on him.

Having MiniMike stay in the race until the very end will keep SleepyCreepy Joe’s delegate count down. It will also allow Crazy Bernie to remain in first or second in every other state the rest of the way. SleepyCreepy Joe will not be able to match what he did in South Carolina. Crazy Bernie will absorb the Pocahontas voters as well as some of Mayor Pete and Amy’s voters.

This will give Crazy Bernie every chance possible to reach the magic number of 1,991. If he isn’t able to reach it, he will be very close to it and have 500+ more delegates than SleepyCreepy Joe. When they steal it from Crazy Bernie at the convention, his voters will go absolutely insane.

The Democrat convention will take place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is the home of a large radical population. The heart of the Democrat Party will be showing up in a place where some of the most angry & organized Crazy Bernie supporters can be found.

The biggest benefactor from that will be PDJT!
