Yesterday, our President delivered remarks on the latest step his Administration is taking to reverse burdensome regulations. Our President’s administration is modernizing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) regulations to promote more efficient, effective, and timely NEPA reviews of infrastructure projects that will increase our Nation’s economic competitiveness and improve the quality of life of our citizens.

NEPA regulations have not been comprehensively updated in over 40 years. Yesterday’s action will establish time limits of 2 years for completion of environmental impact statements and one year for completion of environmental assessments.

Western intelligence agencies confirmed Ukraine flight 752 was shot down just north of Tehran by Iranian anti-aircraft missiles.

Yesterday, Prime Minister Trudeau informed Canadians the aircraft was shot down.

There were 176 passengers and crew aboard: 82 Iranians, 63 Canadians, 11 Ukrainian passengers and crew, 10 Swedes, four Afghans, three Germans and three Britons on board. The nose of a Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) was identified in a debris field near the crash site.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says Canada has intelligence that indicates that the plane that crashed in Iran Wednesday morning, killing all 176 people aboard, was shot down by an Iranian missile – possibly by accident.

“We have intelligence from multiple sources, including our allies and our own intelligence. The evidence indicates that the plane was shot down by an Iranian surface-to-air missile. This may well have been unintentional,” the prime minister said Thursday afternoon at a news conference.

Ukraine Airlines flight PS752 crashed near Tehran shortly after taking off. Sixty-three of its passengers had Canadian passports, and many others were living in Canada as permanent residents or on visas.

PM Trudeau is a POS! To even for a split second think that our President has any blame for what happened is totally asinine.

His FAKE NEWS broadcasters are running with the same BS!

Mayor Pete, another POS, decided to get on the bandwagon as well.

At this point all I can do is laugh.

The surveillance footage taken from outside Jeffrey Epstein’s jail cell on the day of his first apparent suicide attempt has been permanently deleted, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

Epstein, the disgraced financier who was facing federal sex-trafficking charges, was found semiconscious in his cell at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in New York around 1:27 a.m. on July 23.

But that video is now gone because MCC officials mistakenly saved footage from a different floor of the federal detention facility, prosecutors said in a court filing.

The MCC “inadvertently preserved video from the wrong tier within the MCC and as a result, video from outside the defendant’s cell on July 22-23, 2019 no longer exists,” the court papers say.

The FBI made the discovery last week while reviewing a copy of the video provided by MCC officials, prosecutors said.

“After reviewing the video, it appeared to the government that the footage contained on the preserved video was for the correct date and time, but captured a different tier than the one where (the cell housing Epstein and his cellmate] was located because the preserved video did not show corrections officers responding to any of the cells seen on the video.”

Huge win for our President and our Wall!

In a welcome victory for border security advocates, a federal appeals court agreed to lift an injunction that was blocking the Trump administration from tapping military construction funds to build a wall.

The 5th Circuit Court, based in New Orleans, ruled 2-1 that wall construction could proceed while the appeal was heard. And the two Republican judges may have put a nail in the coffin of the groups opposing the issue by questioning whether they even had standing to sue in the first place.

There are challenges in several circuits to Trump’s declaration of a national emergency last year and his subsequent earmarking of $6 billion in military construction funds to build the wall. The Supreme Court lifted one injunction against the administration’s use of the funds and it’s probable that more are headed its way.

Americans are Winning because of MAGAnomics.

President Trump has overseen a drop of millions of food stamp beneficiaries even before his administration’s proposals for tightening eligibility take effect.

The administration sees it as an accomplishment that food stamp rolls have fallen by 17.5% as the economy has grown and said that further reforms to the benefits will aid families. Democrats and anti-poverty groups, though, warn that the administration’s proposals would further impoverish children, immigrants, and veterans.

Trump’s year-end list of “results” included the boast that “nearly 7 million Americans have been lifted off of food stamps,” which the administration credited to people “being lifted out of poverty as a result of today’s booming economy.”

Indeed, the latest data from the Department of Agriculture shows that 7.7 million fewer Americans receive food stamps now than did when Trump entered the White House.

Cocaine Mitch just decided to drop a MOAB on Pelosi’s head by signing onto the resolution introduced by Josh Hawley (R-MO).

From the article linked above:

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has signed onto a measure that would allow lawmakers to begin President Trump’s impeachment trial without receiving the articles House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is withholding.

McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, is among more than one dozen Republicans who are co-sponsors of a measure authored by Sen. Josh Hawley, a Missouri Republican, authorizing the Senate to begin the trial as early as Monday, or 25 days after the House passed the impeachment articles on Dec. 19.

The measure would require a change to the Senate rules, which is normally authorized with an affirmative vote from 67 senators. A top aide signaled McConnell isn’t going to “go nuclear” and allow a rules change to pass with only 51 votes, so the measure probably cannot pass.

A vote has not been scheduled, but it would put Democrats on the spot.

What an absolutely incredible rally! Here are some video clips and pictures from it:
