Yesterday our President traveled to NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, to join Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the “Howdy Modi: Shared Dreams, Bright Futures” event. India is a key geopolitical ally in our President’s Indo-Pacific strategy. [Economics, Trade and Security]

Our President was introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The crowd was extremely enthusiastic to our President.

The introduction by Prime Minister Modi was incredible.

Here are some short video clips.

Sharing a stage in Houston and later walking hand-in-hand around a football stadium, Trump received Modi’s endorsement in front of more than 50,000 Indian Americans — an influential voter base.

Modi used Sunday’s event to rally his supporters, show off his closeness with the U.S. president and take aim at India’s rivals, which notably include Pakistan.

Great speech by our President!

President Modi’s visit to Houston, Texas was also done to sign one of the biggest LNG deals.

From the article linked above:

A visit to Houston by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has become the backdrop for one of the largest liquefied natural gas supply deals in U.S. history.

Executives with Houston liquefied natural gas company Tellurian and India’s Petronet LNG signed a $2.5 billion deal in Modi’s presence during a private Saturday evening ceremony at the Post Oak Hotel at Uptown in Houston’s Galleria district.

Under the deal, Petronet pledged to invest $2.5 billion in Tellurian’s proposed Driftwood LNG export terminal in Lake Charles, La., in exchange for the rights to 5 million metric tons of LNG per year over the lifespan of the project.

“It’s a win for the United States because it creates an outlet for our surplus gas,” Souki said. “It’s a win for India because they have secured cheap gas for a long period of time. And it’s a win for Tellurian because we have provided a bridge between a nation with too much gas and a nation that needs as much gas as it can get as an affordable price.”

Our President wasn’t done for the day. He also toured a new cardboard manufacturing plant in Ohio with plant owner Anthony Pratt and Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison. During the tour our President stopped to make remarks to the traveling press pool.

Even more winning!

From the article linked above:

Through its commitment to build vehicles where they are sold, Toyota is investing $391 million at its San Antonio truck assembly plant to better serve customers. Once complete, the plant’s total investment will exceed $3 billion. Today’s announcement comes as part of a broader commitment from Toyota to invest $13 billion in its U.S. operations over five years through 2021.

Separately, Aisin AW, a supplier to Toyota Texas and other automakers, announced that it will invest $400 million and bring 900 new jobs to a future facility in nearby Cibolo, Texas.

“The Lone Star State continues to build on its reputation as a manufacturing powerhouse thanks to investments from innovative companies like Toyota and Aisin AW,” said Governor Greg Abbott. “Their combined new investment of nearly $800 million in the San Antonio area is a testament to Texas’ unrivaled workforce and commitment to creating an environment where businesses can thrive free from the heavy hand of government regulation and over-taxation.

From the article linked above:

Springfield’s economy has always had a heavy emphasis on manufacturing, but its latest jobs wins are adding a high-tech twinge to that.

The Clark County city hailed new facilities by Topre and Silfex Corp. as economy-shifting in their potential. Japanese auto parts manufacturer Topre and Eaton-based silicon crystal producer Silfex have each committed to tens of millions of dollars in investment and hundreds of jobs. With help wanted signs on the doors, they say the city is ripe for investment.

For its part, Silfex sees Springfield as a prime market to find good production workers. It’s already one of the largest employers in the region staffing 700 people at its Eaton and Springfield works, and the new $223 million, 350,000-square-foot facility at 1000 Titus Road will grow that closer to 1,000.

“They’re both ramping up and aggressively hiring,” Tom Franzen, assistant city manager of economic development for the city, said. “It’s a matter of finding the right people.”

Excellent thread by Larry Schweikart discussing what our President can get done in his first term when it comes to his Judicial Armada (Circuit Judges).

Another excellent thread about Climate Change.

Bibi will get the opportunity to form a government in Israel.

From the article linked above:

It became clear following the first day of consultations that barring a change in the final results of the race, Netanyahu would have the recommendation of 55 MKs from Likud, Shas, United Torah Judaism and Yamina. Gantz’s 54 recommendations are from Blue and White, Labor-Gesher, the Democratic Union and most of the Joint List.

While the Joint List made history on Sunday evening when its leader, Ayman Odeh, recommended Gantz for prime minister in its meeting with Rivlin, Blue and White officials downplayed the endorsement, because Balad’s three MKs did not endorse anyone, leaving Netanyahu with a majority of recommendations. Yisrael Beytenu did not recommend anyone.

Winning each and every day under PDJT!
