Don’t be surprised if a city is nuked today. The cat is completely out of the bag when it comes to Jeffrey Epstein.
From the article linked above:
Thousands of court documents were unsealed Friday morning from the Giuffre v. Maxwell defamation suit filed in the Southern District of New York federal court in 2015.
These are the new details found in the Giuffre v. Maxwell court documents:
- The documents include a photo of a 2005 Amazon receipt for an order Epstein placed for books about sadomasochism and how to use sex slaves, with the titles “SM 101: A Realistic Introduction,” “SlaveCraft: Roadmaps for Erotic Servitude,” and “Training with Miss Abernathy: A Workbook for Erotic Slaves and Their Owners.”
- In a transcript of a 2013 interview with the FBI contained in the documents, Giuffre describes how Epstein pampered her as an underage girl to keep her by his side, including giving her hundreds of dollars in cash, taking her on luxury vacations, and paying for shopping sprees, starting when she was 15-years-old.
Here is an excellent thread with additional information.
CreepySleepyJoe is a nightmare for Democrats!
From the article linked above (I ADDED MORE THAN USUAL SINCE MANY DON’T WANT TO CLICK ONTO WAPO):
Coverage of political gaffes is often overwrought. Politicians say lots of things with cameras and recorders shoved in their faces, and occasionally they’re going to misspeak. Generally, it’s on inconsequential matters that most regular people don’t actually care about, and it’s just an exercise in, “Look at the dumb thing this otherwise-smart politician just said!”
But former vice president Joe Biden’s performance Thursday in Iowa has got to raise some eyebrows in his party — for a couple of reasons.
For those unaware, Biden at one point said, “Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids” — then tried to correct himself by saying “wealthy kids, black kids, Asian kids.” Earlier in the day, he also referred to former British prime minister Theresa May as her predecessor from four decades ago, Margaret Thatcher — and not for the first time. He also said at one point that Democrats should “choose truth over facts.”
At least one of Biden’s 2020 Democratic opponents is highlighting the “white kids” comment, with New York Mayor Bill de Blasio suggesting that it might betray something more sinister in Biden. “To quickly dismiss @JoeBiden’s words as a mere ‘slip of the tongue’ is as concerning as what he said,” de Blasio tweeted.
The “white kids” comment can’t help but conjure other moments in which Biden said things that were viewed as racially insensitive and stereotypes. The most infamous example was in 2007 when he called Barack Obama “the first mainstream African American [presidential candidate] who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy.” He also joked in 2006 that, “You cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin’ unless you have a slight Indian accent.”
Layer on top of that Biden’s recent comments about his good working relationship with segregationist senators and his recently unearthed past comments about busing, and it’s not difficult for his opponents to craft a narrative. De Blasio more than hinted in that direction Friday; Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.) and Kamala D. Harris (D-Calif.) have done so previously, and it will be interesting to see how they handle these latest comments, especially given that Biden continues to succeed in large part thanks to black voters.
Some big names are tweeting the video from Iowa (including Don Jr.). Wait until our President decides to do so.
Love that Charles Payne referenced it as well.
From the article linked above:
Former Vice President Joe Biden unleashed a racially-tinged gaffe and instead of responding with surprise, his audience applauded the blunder.
Biden was trying to highlight racial attitudes that led to unequal education outcomes when he accidentally equated being poor with minority students, and being rich with white students.
“And another thing we should do is we should challenge these students. We should challenge these students in these schools that have advanced placement programs in these schools,” Biden told an audience in Des Moines, Iowa.
“We have this notion that if you’re poor you cannot do it,” he said.
“Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids!” he proclaimed.
FAKE NEWS knows their preferred candidate is a RACIST but they will do everything humanly possible to defend him.
Our President gave a 33+ minute presser before leaving the White House for his 10 day WELL DESERVED vacation. I promise to include the transcript once it becomes available.
Topics and questions included: China and status of trade conflict, background checks, the Federal Reserve and interest rates, a new “very beautiful letter” from Kim Jong Un, the Mississippi ICE enforcement actions, Colin Kaepernick’s prospects for NFL employment and Joe Biden’s defects as a candidate.
This was what I enjoyed the most!
God Bless the PATRIOTS in Iowa for showing their support for our President during the Iowa Fair.
It is only a matter of time before the house of cards fall on this POS!
I think any legislation that is ultimately passed will get the NRA’s stamp of approval. Here is their position on Red Flag Legislation.
Kimberly Strassel is absolutely right! Another issue that the MORONS that call themselves Democrats will lose on.
From the article linked above:
Democrats insist there’s no more urgent job than ensuring Donald Trump is a one-term president. Which is odd, given how hard they are simultaneously working to alienate the voters they most need to make that happen. See this week’s debate on gun control.
The weekend’s shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, inspired the entire liberal-media complex to chant “gun control,” reflexively and predictably. A favorite demand is to expand background checks—never mind that these mass shooters, and those of recent years, bought their guns legally and therefore passed such checks. Another is an “assault weapons” ban—never mind that “assault” weapons function in the same way as tens of millions of other semi-automatic rifles that would remain in circulation.
The Pew Research Center’s 2017 study of the “demographics of gun ownership” found that 42% of American adults live in a household with a firearm. Some 58% of rural Americans live in a gun household, as do 48% of independents and 41% of suburbanites. Forty-eight percent of white men personally own a gun. A quarter of self-identified Democrats live in a gun household—many in those rural and suburban areas of Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin where Hillary Clinton lost and the Democratic nominee will desperately need to win in 2020.
Just as striking are gun owners’ attitudes about their Second Amendment rights. Nearly three-quarters of the Americans who currently own a gun say they “can’t see themselves ever not owning one.” Pew reports that “for today’s gun owners, the right to own guns nearly rivals other rights laid out in the U.S. Constitution”—including “freedom of speech, the right to vote, the right to privacy, and freedom of religion.” It notes that “about three-quarters of gun owners (74%) say this right is essential to their own sense of freedom.”
God Bless Generation Z!
