News Roundup! Trade Deficit, Catch & Release, Canadian Election, Fort Trump, Presidential Polling, Opportunity Zone Conference…..

Economists try everything in their power to say that shrinking the trade deficit won’t have any effect on our real GDP rate. They are completely full of shit! They need the public to believe this in order to continue to sell our country out. It will kill their entire scheme if the public sees the positive impact on our country. The problem for them is that our President and his KILLERS will see to it that our trade deficit is drastically reduced.

The U.S. trade deficit fell to an eight-month low in February as imports from China plunged, suggesting President Donald Trump’s “America First” agenda was starting to bear fruit.

The surprise narrowing in the trade gap reported by the Commerce Department on Wednesday also implied a much stronger pace of U.S. economic growth in the first quarter than initially anticipated at the start of the year.

The 20.2 percent drop in imports from China was the main driver behind a nearly 3.4 percent improvement in the U.S. trade deficit to $49.4 billion in February, data from the Commerce Department showed. The trade deficit has narrowed for two straight months.

Economists polled by Reuters had forecast the trade shortfall would widen to $53.5 billion in February.

Keep in mind that prior to last year, the 1st Quarter real GDP rate averaged 1.2% (10 consecutive years). Last year’s 1st Quarter real GDP rate hit 2.2%. Look what the Atlanta Federal Reserve is currently projecting for the 1st Quarter.

The election results out of Canada last night show that Justin from Canada will NOT win reelection later this year.

A right-of-center party swept to power in Canada’s main oil-producing province of Alberta on Tuesday and attacked Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s efforts to fight climate change, raising tension just months ahead of a federal election.

The United Conservative Party (UCP) of Jason Kenney, which had led in the polls for months, crushed the left-leaning New Democratic Party (NDP) government of Rachel Notley amid frustration over the economy and a beleaguered energy industry.

Kenney’s victory means governments in five of the 10 provinces now oppose Trudeau’s plans to combat global warming, which look set to be a major theme of the October election.

More bad news for Canadians but great news for our country.

One of Truro’s oldest operating manufacturers is relocating to the United States, eliminating approximately 240 local jobs.

“It was a little bit of a kick in the gut,” Truro Mayor Bill Mills said, of his reaction to receiving the “shocking” news in a phone call Tuesday afternoon that the Tandus Centiva (formerly Crossley Carpets) plant is shutting down. “That’s not quite the kind of news we were looking for today.

The carpet factory has been in operation in Truro since 1964 and now is owned by Tarkett North America.

Our President’s approval rating according to the Rasmussen Poll was once again 52% today.

Here comes Fort Trump!

From the article linked above:

Poland is nearing a deal with the U.S. to establish an American military base in the former Communist bloc country, according to people familiar with the matter — an outpost the Poles see as a deterrent to Russian aggression and that the Kremlin would likely consider a provocation.

If a deal is reached, President Donald Trump is considering traveling to Poland in the fall, in part to commemorate the agreement. But it’s unclear whether he fully supports the idea, even after he said during a September meeting with Polish President Andrzsej Duda that the U.S. was looking “very seriously” at establishing a base. Duda, who joked that it could be named “Fort Trump,” remains committed to contribute $2 billion for its construction.

AG Barr rules that asylum-seekers MUST be detained during deportation proceedings!

From the article linked above:

Immigration judges cannot release migrants who are caught sneaking into the United States, even if the migrants ask for asylum, says a binding legal decision by Attorney General William Barr.

“The [text of the relevant] Act provides that, if an alien in expedited proceedings establishes a credible fear, he “shall be detained for further consideration of the application for asylum,” says Barr’s April 16 decision, titled. Matter of M-S-. Because of the law, “I order that, unless DHS paroles the respondent under section 212(d)(5)(A) of the Act, he must be detained until his removal proceedings conclude.”

Our President is participating in the Opportunity Zone Conference with State, Local, Tribal, and Community Leaders. It started at 1:00 PM. You can find it at the link below.
