Here Is the Information That Causes Democrats To Have Sleepless Nights! The Election Results From Tuesday Shouldn’t Concern You At ALL………………..

I want to thank Larry Schweikart on Twitter for putting this incredible data together!

Here is an update in terms of Republican gains since November 2016 in Battleground States:

  • PA: Both parties lost. Ds lost a shocking -182,112, Rs -79,656 = Rs net +105,456

This is a net increase for Rs/decrease for Ds of 4,000 since last stats in October 2017

  • FL Both parties lost, Ds -185,112, Rs -79,656 = Rs net +71,150

This is a net increase for Rs/decrease for Ds of 16,000 since last stats in October 2017

**FL continues to be on a pace for Rs to overtake Ds as the majority party by 2020, if not before “if these trends hold.” (They have held now for 12 months)

  • NC: Both parties lost, Ds -81,878, Rs -20,041 = Rs net +61,837

This is up for Rs by about 1,000 since last stats in October 2017

  • AZ: Both parties gained, Ds +15,352, Rs +29,134 = Rs net +13,372

This is up for Rs by about 1,000 since last stats in October 2017

  • NM: Both parties lost: Ds -41,853, Rs -29,035 = Rs net +12,818

No change since last stats in October 2017

  • NV: Both parties lost Ds -22,786, Rs -12,772 = Rs net +9,514

This is up for Rs by about 1,000 since last stats in October 2017

  • IA: No change in October (Rs +14,000 since November 2016)
  • NH: Both parties lost: Ds -16,697, Rs -14,535 = Rs net +2,162 (Rs have 22,000 majority in this state)

Conclusion: In all the states Larry is able to track that are true “Battleground” states, Rs have seen net gains in all but CO (Ds +1,200 since last stats in October 2017). In NO state Trump won have Ds made up any ground. They’ve lost in all, esp. AZ, NC, FL, and PA. In two states Trump lost, NM and NV, Rs have made up ground.
